上海东方明珠（集团）股份有限公司下属上海东方明珠国际交流有限公司，携手美国AEG和NBA中国，合资组建的――东方明珠安舒茨文化体育发展（上海）有限公司。
AEG-OPG Culture and Sports (Shanghai) Company Limited is a joint venture of Shanghai Oriental Pearl International Communications Company Limited (a subsidiary company under Shanghai Oriental Pearl (Group) Company Limited) and NAAV (a joint venture of AEG and NBA China).

梅赛德斯奔驰文化建筑面积16万平方米，是一个集综合演艺、艺术展示、时尚娱乐于一体的综合性文化娱乐聚集区。它拥有一个可以容纳18000座、多功能的大型演艺场馆，具有上海满足NBA赛事要求的标准场地、满足国际冰上赛事及冰上表演的标准场地，同时设有音乐俱乐部、电影院、溜冰场、景观餐厅，以及近2万平方米的商业零售、文化休闲娱乐区。
It has a floor area of 160,000 m2, and will become a comprehensive entertainment and culture center with all kinds of events presented in it, including international live performances, sports and art shows. With a capacity of 18,000 seats, it is also the first multi-functional arena in Shanghai that has a standard court qualified for NBA games, international ice hockey games and ice shows. In addition, SWEPAC has a music club, a six-screen cinema, a public ice skating rink, several restaurants with splendid views and nearly 20,000 m2 retail and entertainment spaces.

通过东方明珠与AEG/NBA的合作，梅赛德斯奔驰文化将被打造成一个世界的文化、娱乐、体育，高质量的现场娱乐活动举办地，将成为上海娱乐、体育以及其他文化休闲、家庭活动的聚集点。
