他形容自己的设计理念如同云朵一般自由。热爱艺术，崇尚自然，自称拥有旅行家灵魂的他，在很早之前受到服装设计师母亲与外交官祖父的影响，已然踏上旅行之路。在很长一段时间里，他每天的生活是游走在不同的地方，从米兰、意大利、法国、美国到亚洲、中东等等，丰富的旅行生活带给他各种灵感，也让他的眼光变的挑剔与尖锐。随着眼界越来越远，他对自由的向往与生活的热情也深深烙印在他的心里。接着，他只身来到美国，创立DK品牌。并将他追求的艺术的自由表达与所倡导的简约、随性、自由而的生活方式融入DK设计空间。
He described his design concepts as free as cloud. He loves arts, respects nature and allegedly has a tourist’s soul. He was influenced by his Designer mother and Diplomat grandfather in an early age. In a long time, he travelled between different places, from Milan, Italy, France, America to Asia and the Middle East. Rich travelling experiences brought him aspiration as well as keen viewpoints. His pursuit of freedom and passion for life increase with broader outlook.Then, he came to America alone and created DK brand. He incorporated his pursuit of freedom, simplicity and independence into DK design.
